Georgia Jeepers Benefit for the Boyd Family

Area 7 was a muddy mess but oh the fun!

What an amazing event hosted by Georgia Jeepers at their property Area 7 in Oxford, Georgia! A fundraiser for the Boyd family to help their little girl that was involved in a golf cart accident. There were 40+ jeeps and tons of people in attendance. It was an amazing event! Jeep Family is the Best Family!

You never know the meaning of family until you own a Jeep! They are the most caring, helpful and fun individuals you will ever meet. They don't mind getting dirty, finding a new adventure, or just enjoying fellowship.

Southern Belle Photography/Southern Off Road raised a total of $150.00 as of Feb 4, 2015 for the Boyd Family just from digital downloads, prints and products!

Area 7 is full of action. You start with a little flex action on the rocks, continue to the stanky hole and wind back in the trails cut by volunteers ending at camp. Camp has the lake, Yolnada's Revenge and V-Ditch. Let me tell you, once you see the photos from this event you will add Area 7 to your list of Must-Ride Trails.

Thank you to everyone that came out to support this family and Georgia Jeepers for all you do for the community! You are appreciated so much by so many!

Happy Jeeping!

JeepHER - Ann

Play in the dirt, because life is too short to have clean fingernails.

The opportunity arose to photograph a beautiful lady, Ann. She knows how to have fun, be serious and enjoy life. Our photoshoot started at a Christmas Tree Farm in Braselton, GA - Cooper's Tree Farm and ended in a little area in Hoschton with her Jeep.

I had never shot at a tree farm so Ann and I got to experience this together. We are most certainly going to go back next winter but possibly to a farm with taller trees. I, myself, had never experienced the cutting down of a fresh tree for the holidays because we always had fake trees when I was little. Watching families come out with their little ones and select a tree, cut it down and then get it loaded was eye-opening. Traditionally, my family never had anything special that we participated in during the holidays so I considered a new tradition for my own family. The giggles, excitement and smells of this place was very pleasing.

Our next location is just a small spot in Hoschton that is right off Hwy 53. It has the most beautiful sunsets and you can get a couple different looks just by rotating left or right. The City of Hoschton is a very small town between Braselton and Winder. If you haven't been you should go, there are a few antique store here that would strike your fancy.

To hire her for a photoshoot or for promotional work please contact us and we can provide her with information.

We are Family - Murray

Home is wherever my bunch of crazies are ....

This blog is a little more personal and close to my heart because Cori and Ayden are an extension of my heart! Some of the best moments of my life have been shared with these two crazies!

Cori and I are best friends, soul mates and call each other wifey. Why? Because we can. We are the MurrayCain family and trust me when I say, WE WILL ROCK IT LIKE A MURRAYCAIN! This happens to be one of my most favorite sessions with Ayden and Cori to date. Because of our friendship I have grown to be a better photographer with each shoot. You can see in these photos what happens when you are completely comfortable with your photographer. You can see both their personalities in each photo!

Most people focus too much on what the photographer is capturing and are worried about posing and if the image is just like all your favorite Pinterest ideas you have pinned for the last month. One thing you need to remember is this: You hired a PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHER and you must TRUST their work. Forget they are even there and enjoy the moment. Have fun and with a little guidance from the professional you will have better photos!

Lifestyle sessions are fun and energetic and those images need to tell your story without captions. They should make you laugh, be in awe, smile, cry and/or just bring you happiness and joy. Those moments captured are going to be treasured for a lifetime and will be shared with so many people. The stories, the laughs, the moment ... everything in life is worth remembering.

Cori & Ayden, thank you for allowing me to share so many moments with you both. Leah and I wouldn't know what to do without the both of you. We love you to the moon and back. <3

Baby Vershure coming Spring 2015

We made a wish and YOU came true ....

I must say that when Sarah and Jonathan first told me they were expecting a baby I did a little happy dance and even squealed a little out of happiness. These two are such amazing an amazing couple and I know they will be the most fantastic parents to their new addition!

Baby Vershure was announced over Thanksgiving to friends and family members and trust me when I say keeping these images a secret has been tough.  The photos were taken on the Greenway in Alpharetta, GA.

To Sarah and Jonathan, enjoy all these little moments during pregnancy. Cherish every move, flutter and hiccup. I am excited to watch your family grow and can't wait to meet Baby Vershure! Congratulations to you both!

We are Family - Riggan

“You are my sun, my moon and all of my stars.”
— E.E. Cummings

What a beautiful day for photos! The location we chose is the Sailors Farm in Jefferson, GA. The leaves were bright, beautiful and the weather was perfect for this family portrait session. Marie and Michael along with their daughter MJ are awaiting the arrival of their new baby boy, Matthew, this Winter.

You all know that I am very fortunate to be able to say I have the best family on the planet, from my Jeep Family, Off Road Family, Client Family, Close Friends and a few others. I truly find happiness capturing these precious moments of each of my family members. It is a gift to be a part of so many lives and be able to watch everyone succeed and share happiness.

I first met the Riggan Family on a spur of the moment Jeep Shoot I wanted to do for fun just to keep my creative juices flowing in August. Marie and Michael are fun, caring and sweet. I am so happy to have met you both and can't wait to meet Matthew!

AHS Senior - Savannah

And off she went to change the world ...

Senior year .. I remember mine, do you remember yours? I can tell you one thing, my senior photos were not this good. I hated them actually. Nothing personal about them, just a plain backdrop with the numbers and a couple outfits. Boring!

Senior year can be full of emotions, everything from a huge sign of relief because you finally feel like a young adult to sadness because you soon realize you are becoming an adult. The best part of becoming an adult, experiencing life and loving each moment good and bad. You are making choices that will mold your future at this age and that is a lot of pressure. But good news, you will make it and it is ok to made a few bad ones as long as you learn from those decisions and take responsibility for your choices.

Congratulations Savannah! I look forward to seeing you play softball for the college of your choice! You got this!

We are Family - Wingard

"I adore his smile, I cherish his hugs, I admire his heart but most of all... I love that he is my son!"

-Unknown

Children are placed in our lives for us to care for, cherish, love and teach but most importantly show us how to live and enjoy our lives. They are the most rewarding gifts given to men and women. If you are a parent you know exactly how quick we can go from one emotion to the next by just a little look or phrase that our children say or do. I know as a parent of a 4 year old daughter I have been taught more lessons thus far than any other time in my life. Everything, and I mean every little smile, laugh, tear, hug, fit, sassy remark or inch they grow changes your life and opens your heart and mind to understand what real love actually means.

I can tell you when I met the Wingard boys my heart was smiling! They all are so much fun and full of personality and charm. The happiness and admiration these three guys share will surely melt your heart. It is a photographers dream to have clients that jump out of their jeep and are enthusiastic about taking photos and the moment my camera went up they were themselves. I got the opportunity to capture the real faces, smiles and fun these three guys share with each other. Thank you Tom, Nathan & Gavin for sharing a few moments of your time with me! I can't wait to see you guys again for more photos and for goodness sake - LET'S GET YOUR DAD'S JEEP DIRTY!!!

See you on the trails boys! <3

Let them be Little Series - Cooper

Meet Cooper! He had grown quite a lot since our last photo session! He is one of my favorite little boys to shoot because he is such an inspiration and joy!

You may remember Cooper last year when we did a session on the Campus of UGA in Athens, GA. He was the cutest Bulldog fan! Ladies, lock those little girls up because this little guy will be stealing hearts when he gets older. He has one of the best mom's on the planet as well, Mrs. Susan and I have known each other since the day we were born. The both of us even share the same birthday!

Gone Fishin'

Little boys, like Parker, love to fish and do other boy-ish things with their Dad and his buddies when they are younger. I got the chance to photograph this experience with Parker and Alex just the other day. Parents teach their children so much with every activity and conversation. Children are sponges and soak up all things around them daily. Important lessons are taught from the smallest of activities and conversations with children.

Parker is 3 years old and loves Brantley Gilbert, Zombies, Fishing, playing with his cars and is always fun to play a little golf with or even bake a cake! He is such an amazing little guy that has so much happiness to share with the world! Check out what he, his dad Alex and Ryan caught when they went fishin'!

To book your lifestyle session please contact me at jennifer@southernbellegroup.com for rates and information. No matter where you are, near or far, we can accomodate your request with our professionals!
